Wakaya prides itself on being one of the best culinary destinations in the South Pacific. Our award-winning Executive Chef Marielle Hajj brings forward the teachings of the culinary greats from around the world, combined with her Lebanese heritage and Mexican roots to the kitchen of Wakaya.

Eighty percent of our ingredients are locally grown or raised on the island or in the surrounding sea. Marielle combines the freshest ingredients with the traditional cooking methods from Fiji, and both new and old techniques from around the world to create some of the most unique, delicate and delightful flavors.

Wakaya’s wine cellar is filled with the finest wines from Australia and New Zealand, and our champagne, cognac, tequila and other liquors respectfully come from their country of origin.
